Opening Activity

On Saturday, September 10, many Lutheran clergy members will be standing on the sides of the roads with signs that proclaim their belief in God and how his powers are helping America heal from the terrorist attacks that occured 10 years ago. Local Lutherans have started a Facebook group inviting people to attand the 10th anniversery memorial, and assist the Lutheran clergy in holding u signs and remembering all those whos' lives were sadly taken on September 11th, 2001. . I can't think of a more hospitable gesture than meeting people on the streets and reminding them that the Church is a people and a place where folks hash out difficult stuff and work toward healing," Carlson said in an exclusive interview. Anyone who is interested in participating in the act of hope for peace around the world and an end to terrorism is highly encouraged to attend.  For more information, contact Carlson at pastormeta@stjohnsmpls.org, please get involved.
